Begent cream (Betamethasone Dipropionate + Gentamicin Sulphate) for external use only. Begent cream 15gm tube is composed of two ingredients Betamethasone Dipropionate and Gentamicin Sulphate. This combination skin cream is commonly used to treat inflammatory skin conditions that involve or are at risk of developing bacterial infection.

Betamethasone Dipropionate 0.064%

Gentamicin Sulphate 1.7 mg

Uses: Its ingredient, Betamethasone dipropionate, is a glucocorticoid steroid with anti-inflammatory and immunosuppressive abilities. It is applied as a topical cream to treat itching and other minor skin conditions such as eczema. Minor side effects include dry skin and mild, temporary stinging.

Gentamicin Sulphate is used to treat minor skin infections (such as impetigo, folliculitis) or minor infections related to some skin conditions (such as eczema, psoriasis, minor burns/cuts/wounds). Gentamicin works by stopping the growth of certain bacteria. It belongs to a class of drugs known as aminoglycoside antibiotics. This antibiotic treats only bacterial infections and is not effective against viral or fungal infections.

Precaution: Before taking clindamycin, tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are allergic to it, Betamethasone Dipropionate and Gentamicin Sulphate, or if you have any other allergies.
