Clobevate Cream
Clobevate Cream (clobetasol propionate B.P. 0.05% w/w) is a 20g tube, used as topical corticosteroid cream.
Package contains: 1 pack of clobevate cream contains 20g tube and an inner leaflet. 
Composition:
Active ingredient is:
Clobetasol propionate B.P. 0.05% w/w.
Indications:
It is a very potent topical corticosteroid indicated for adults, elderly and children over 1 year for the relief of inflammatory and pruritic manifestations of steroid-responsive dermatoses.
Dosage and Administration:
Adults, elderly and children over 1 year;
Apply thinly and gently rub in using only enough to cover the entire affected area once or twice a day for up to 4 weeks until improvement occurs, then reduce the frequency of application or change the treatment to a less potent preparation.
Contraindications: Untreated cutaneous infections, Rosacea, Acne vulgaris, Pruritus without inflammation, Perianal and genital pruritus, and perioral dermatitis. Also contraindicated in dermatoses in children <1 year of age, including dermatitis.
Warnings and Precautions: It should be used with caution in patients with a history of local hypersensitivity to corticosteroids or any of the excipients in the preparation. Visual disturbances have been reported by patients using systemic and/or topical corticosteroids.
Interactions: Co-administration drugs that can inhibit CYP3A4 (e.g. ritonavir and itraconazole) have been shown to inhibit the metabolism of corticosteroids leading to increased systemic exposure.
Pregnancy and Lactation: Administration of it during pregnancy and lactation should only be considered if the expected benefit to the mother outweighs the risk to the infant.
Adverse Reactions: Infections and infestations, immune system disorders, endocrine disorders, eye disorders, skin and subcutaneous tissue disorders, general disorders and administration site conditions.
Overdosage: Overdose if topically applied cream may result in absorption of sufficient amounts to produce systemic effects.
Instructions: For external use only. Store in a cool dry place below 30°C. Keep all medicines out of the reach of children. To be used as directed by the physician.
