Evion (Vitamin E) Martin Dow USP Capsules 10 x 10 of 400-mg soft gelatin capsules. It is a nutritional product that provides vitamin E (a fat-soluble antioxidant) to support normal body functions. Vitamin E is used to treat and prevent vitamin deficiencies.
Due to its antioxidant properties, it helps protect body cells from oxidative damage, supports immune function, and skin health. In addition, it may be used as an adjunct antioxidant therapy supporting cellular, reproductive, and cardiovascular health.
Package Contains: Each box of Evion contains 100 capsules of 400 mg; you can also buy it as a single strip of 10 capsules. It is also available as Evion 30 capsules box of 200mg & 600mg. 
Composition: Evion Capsules 400 mg (Vitamin E) USP
Each soft gelatin capsule contains: dl-Alpha Tocopheryl Acetate, USP 400 mg.
Indications / Uses: Evion is indicated for covering the vitamin E requirements, supportive measures in diseases of the muscles, muscle cramps (Calf) and connective tissues, intermittent claudications, and fertility disorders (male/female).
It also helps to improve endogenous immunity by increasing antibody production and phagocytosis, tolerance to digitalis intoxication, acute respiratory distress syndrome, keloid, acrodermatitis, induration penis plastica, chronic throthicans, mammary dysplasia (fibrocystic breast disease), atherosclerosis/coronary artery disease, and collegenosis.
Usual Dosage: 1-2 capsules daily or as prescribed by the physician. Take Vitamin E after meals to enhance absorption and reduce GI discomfort. Vitamin E is likely safe for most people (adults) when taken in doses lower than 1000 mg daily.
Precautions: Use with Caution In
- Patients on anticoagulant or antiplatelet therapy.
- Individuals with vitamin K deficiency or bleeding disorders. Vitamin E interferes with vitamin K, dependent clotting factors, and platelet aggregation.
- Those with fat-malabsorption syndromes (may require water-dispersible form).
- Pregnancy & lactation: high-dose supplements are not recommended during pregnancy unless advised by a healthcare professional.
Adverse Reactions / Side Effects: When taken at recommended doses, Vitamin E is generally safe and well-tolerated. Side effects are rare at typical doses, but the risk and severity increase with high doses or long-term use.
Common, Mild Side Effects (usually with high doses or in sensitive individuals): nausea or diarrhea, stomach cramps / abdominal pain, headache, dizziness, fatigue or weakness & rash.
Serious Side Effects (rare, typically associated with very high doses or specific medical conditions): Increased risk of bleeding & severe allergic reactions, with symptoms such as breathing problems.
