Esowel

Esowel (Esomeprazole) capsule is used to treat symptoms of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) and various conditions including excessive stomach acid like Zollinger-Ellison syndrome, esophagitis, and peptic ulcers. It is also effective to treat and healing erosive esophagitis. Esowel capsule contains the active ingredient Esomeprazole. It belongs to the anti-ulcerate class of drugs.

It may also be given to prohibit gastric ulcers caused by infection with Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori), or through the usage of nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). It cannot be used for getting instant relief of heartburn symptoms.

Package contains: Each pack of Esowel contains 14 capsules of 40mg. It is also available as: Esowel 20mg.

Esomeprazole as megnisium Trihydrate 40 mg.

Side effects:

Common side effects of this medicine include:

  • Headache. Esowel-back
  • Diarrhea.
  • Nausea.
  • Flatulence (passing gas)
  • Stomach pain.
  • Constipation.
  • Dry mouth.

Some Serious Side Effects may include:

  • Vomiting
  • Stomach pain
  • Weight loss
