Axesom
Axesom capsule (Esomeprazole) is used in the treatment of gut diseases such as duodenal ulcers, acidity in the stomach, and GORD. Esomeprazole has the ability to reduce the secretion of HCL from the stomach and to cure gastroesophageal reflux disease.
Axesom is usually suggested in a combination with any antibiotic to allow the bacteria to produce lactic acid and prevent unwanted bacterial growth. This addition is mainly recommended in patients with ulcers due to Helicobacter pylori. 
Composition:
It is available in form of 20mg and 40mg capsules. Each 40mg capsule contains 40mg of enteric-coated pellets of Esomeprazole magnesium trihydrate which is equivalent to Esomeprazole.
Dosage and Instructions:
Consult the doctor or physician for the duration, time, and dose level of the medicine. Patients having a history of impaired renal or hepatic functions usually don’t require any adjustment in dosage.
Store the medicine above 25 degrees Celsius at a dry place with no direct contact with sunlight.
Contraindications: Patients having a history of impaired liver should avoid using a high dose of this medicine. Also, patients having hypersensitivity must consult the doctor or physician before using it.
Adverse effects: It may cause dizziness and upset stomach in some cases.
