Anacin

Anacin (ciprofloxacin HCI) is given as an oral tablet, rapidly and well absorbed from the gastrointestinal tract after oral administration.

Package contains:  Each package contains 1X10 tablets of 200mg. It is also available as Anacin 100mg tablets and granules for oral suspension.

Package contains: Each package contains 10 film coated tablets of 500mg and a leaflet (instructions). It is available in 250mg tablets. It is also available as a dry powder for suspension.

Composition:

Each film-coated tablet contains:

Ciprofloxacin Hydrochloride eq. to Ciprofloxacin 500mg.

The product complies with USP specifications.

Dosage & Administration: as directed by the Physicians.

Indications and Usage: Anacin is indicated for the treatment of:

Urinary tract infections, Acute Uncomplicated Cystitis in females, Bacterial Prostatitis, Lower respiratory tract infections, Acute sinusitis, skin and skin structure infections, Bone and joints Infection, Uncomplicated cervical and urethral gonorrhea, Complicated Unitary tract infections & pyelonephritis.

Typhoid fever (Enteric Fever) caused by Salmonella typhi (Note: The efficacy of Ciprofloxacin HCI in the eradication of chronic typhoid carriers has not been demolished.

Contraindications: Anacin is contraindicated in patients with a known allergy to ciprofloxacin or to any antibiotics.

Instructions: Only to be sold on the prescription of a registered medical practitioner. Keep away from heat, moisture, light, and children.
