Viferol

Viferol vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol) is a 1ml ampoule I.M and oral use of 5mg. It can be taken orally or injected into muscles.

Package contains: Each Viferol package contains a 1ml ampoule of 5mg and a leaflet inserted inside.

Composition:  Viferol

Each ml contains:

Vitamin D3 (B.P) 5mg

(Cholecaloiferol 200,000 I.U)

Dosage & Administration: As advised by the physician.

Uses: This medicinal product contains Vitamin D, which is involved in the fixation of calcium. Viferol is indicated in the prevention and treatment of Vitamin D deficiencies.

Warnings: when not to use this medicine? This drug must not be used in the following cases:

  • hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients, mainly to vitamin D
  • hypercalcemia (abnormally high blood calcium levels)
  • hypercalciuria (excessive urinary elimination of calcium)
  • calcium lithiasis (kidney stones)

If you are in doubt, you must ask your doctor or your pharmacist for advice.
