Colcrys
Colcrys (Cholecalciferol) (1 Ampoule x 1ml) injection is mainly used to treat vitamin D3 deficiency. It is an Oral Ampoule /I.M. Ampoule mainly used to treat gout attack (a condition in which pain occurs in one or more joints due to excess uric acid in the blood).
Package Contains: Each package contains 1 Ampoule x 1ml of Colcrys.
Composition:
Each ampoule 1ml contains:
Cholecalciferol (Vit. D3) B.P 5mg.
(Polyfine Specs).
Dosage: As directed by the physician.
Indications:
- This medicinal product contains vitamin D, which is involved in bone fixation, of calcium.
- It is indicated in the prevention and treatment of vitamin D deficiencies.
Unpleasant effects:
- As with any medicine, this product may produce unpleasant effects of varying severity in some people.
- Tell your doctor about any unwanted or unpleasant effect which is not mentioned in the leaflet.
Warnings:
- In order to avoid any vitamin D overdosage, you should ask your doctor’s advice in case of concomitant treatment with drugs containing this vitamin.
- Colcrys injection can be prescribed during pregnancy, or lactation if necessary.
- However, it is preferable to consult your doctor before using drugs.
Instructions:
- Store below 30°C, at a dry place.
- Protect from sunlight.
- Keep out of the reach of children.
- To be dispensed on the prescription of a registered medical practitioner only.
