Colcrys

Colcrys (Cholecalciferol) (1 Ampoule x 1ml) injection is mainly used to treat vitamin D3 deficiency. It is an Oral Ampoule /I.M. Ampoule mainly used to treat gout attack (a condition in which pain occurs in one or more joints due to excess uric acid in the blood).

Package Contains: Each package contains 1 Ampoule x 1ml of Colcrys.

Composition:

Each ampoule 1ml contains:

Cholecalciferol (Vit. D3) B.P 5mg.

(Polyfine Specs).

Dosage: As directed by the physician.

Indications:

This medicinal product contains vitamin D, which is involved in bone fixation, of calcium.
It is indicated in the prevention and treatment of vitamin D deficiencies.

Unpleasant effects:

As with any medicine, this product may produce unpleasant effects of varying severity in some people.
Tell your doctor about any unwanted or unpleasant effect which is not mentioned in the leaflet.

Warnings:

In order to avoid any vitamin D overdosage, you should ask your doctor’s advice in case of concomitant treatment with drugs containing this vitamin.
Colcrys injection can be prescribed during pregnancy, or lactation if necessary.
However, it is preferable to consult your doctor before using drugs.

Instructions:

Store below 30°C, at a dry place.
Protect from sunlight.
Keep out of the reach of children.
To be dispensed on the prescription of a registered medical practitioner only.
