Acylex

Acylex (Aciclovir tablets B.P) tablet is used to treat infections (infections caused by different forms of viruses like Chickenpox, Shingles, and herpes simple virus).

It is an antiviral medicine. It belongs to a class of antiviral drugs known as Synthetic Nucleoside Analogues. It works by stopping the spread of the virus in the body. It stops the spreading of virus in the body if present. It reduces itching and prevents new sores from forming.

Package Contains: Each pack of Acylex contains 20 film coated tablets of 400mg.

Composition:

Each film coated tablet contains:

Aciclovir B.P 400mg.

Dosage: As advised by the physician. (See literature insert for details).

Precautions:

Do not take it without a doctor’s authorization. If you have any prior conditions or have any allergies to any medicine, tell your doctor. Before using this drug consult with your doctor if you think you may be pregnant or breastfeeding. Do not stop taking this medicine without consulting with the doctor.

The side effects caused by Acylex 400mg are:

Vomiting

Diarrhea

Headache

Nausea

Allergic reactions (Hypersensitivity to the drug or its components)

Weakness.
