Panadol Liquid
Panadol Liquid Paracetamol is a children’s syrup for 2-12 years, 120 ml. It gently soothes pain & lowers temperature. It is a sugar-free syrup. Do not use if the seal on the bottle is damaged. 
Package Contains: Each Panadol Liquid itself is a plastic bottle of syrup 120 ml in raspberry flavour.
Composition: Each 5ml (1 teaspoonful)
Contains Paracetamol BP 160 mg.
Indications /Uses: Panadol Liquid/syrup is indicated for relieving fever and mild to moderate pain associated with toothache, headache, sore throat, vaccination, and common childhood infections.
Dosage: According to the child’s weight. 15 mg/kg first single dose for symptomatic relief of the reaction due to vaccination. After Panadol second dose if pyrexia persists, then consult your doctor.

The dose should be taken according to weight or age. If you know the child’s weight, use the dosage based on weight; if not, use the dosage based on age. Use it as directed by the physician.
Contraindications: Panadol is contraindicated in patients with a previous history of hypersensitivity to paracetamol or excipients.
Special warnings and precautions: If you have been diagnosed with liver or kidney impairment, seek medical advice before taking this medication. If symptoms persist, consult your doctor.
Adverse reactions and Side-effects: Adverse effects of paracetamol are rare, but hypersensitivity including skin rashes may occur. Contact your doctor immediately in case of side effects.
Drug Interactions & Other Forms of Interactions: The anticoagulant effect of warfarin and other coumarins may be enhanced by prolonged regular daily use of paracetamol with increased risk of bleeding, occasional doses have no significant effect.
Overdose or Accidental Ingestion: Signs, Symptoms & Handling (Antidote): Paracetamol overdose may cause liver failure. Immediate medical management is required in the event of overdose, even if symptoms of overdose are not present. Administration of N-acetylcysteine of methionine may be required.
Instructions: Use only for oral use. Don’t take it with any other medicine that contains paracetamol. There must be a 4-hour gap between each dose. In 24-hour period, the maximum daily dose should not be taken more than 4 times. Protect from light. Store below 30°C. Keep out of the reach of children. Use according to the doctor’s advice. Maximum dose: 60 mg/kg in 24 hours, given as 10–15 ml/kg in equally divided doses. Do not exceed the recommended dosage.
