NEUROMET CAPSULE belongs to the class of ‘antioxidants’, primarily used to treat diabetic polyneuropathy.
Diabetic polyneuropathy is a type of nerve damage that can occur if you have diabetes. High blood sugar (glucose) can injure nerves throughout your body. Diabetic neuropathy most often damages nerves in your legs and feet.
NEUROMET CAPSULE contains the active ingredient of alpha-lipoic acid. Alpha-lipoic acid is a free-radical scavenger that catches damaging oxygen radicals both in aqueous and lipid-soluble cell environments, thereby counteracting the sensory disorders of diabetic polyneuropathy.
Dosage: Take NEUROMET CAPSULE with or without food. Swallow the CAPSULE as a whole with a glass of water, do not chew or break the tablet. You are advised to take it for as long as your doctor has prescribed it for you depending on your medical condition.
