ARCEVA™
ARCEVA™ (Artemether + Lumefantrine) is a new treatment of malaria.
Uses This medication is used to treat malaria. This is a fixed combination of artemether and lumefantrine which is used to potentiate the blood schizontocidal effects.
Package contains: Each package of ARCEVA contains 6 tablets coated with protective film and a leaflet (instructions).
Composition: 
Each tablet contains:
Artemether Ph.int 80 mg
Lumefantrine MS 480 mg

Dosage: In the event of vomiting within 1 hour of administration, a repeat dose should be taken, 6 dose regimen should be given 3 days at oral treatment.
It is better to use the medicine as directed by the physician.
Instructions: This medicine is for oral use only. Keep all medicines out of the reach of the children.
Protect the medicine from the following which mention below
- Sunlight
- Heat
- Moisture
- Freeze
Store between 15° to 30°C. Improper storage may deteriorate the medicine.
Cautions: To be sold on prescription of a registered medical practitioner only.
This medicine causes some common side effects which mention below
- Abdominal pain
- Diarrhea
- Nausea
- Vomiting
- Palpitation
- Headache
- Rashes (rate)
- Asthenia (rare)
- Fatigue
If any of these side effects persist, report to your physician promptly.
Warnings:
Must see the expiry date before using.
Avoid taking it without the permission of a physician.
Avoid taking it while pregnant.
Immediately consult your doctor in case of serious side effects.
