Rosugen

Rosugen (Rosuvastatin) is a lipid-lowering medication (statin). It is used to treat high cholesterol levels and to correct abnormal cholesterol. It is also indicated to reduce the risk of heart-related conditions such as stroke and heart attack. Also, it slows down the progression of atherosclerosis, a condition of narrowing of blood vessels due to fat build-up.

Package contains The package contains one packet having 10 tablets of film enteric-coated & a leaflet (instructions).

Composition: Rosugen

Each film enteric-coated tablet contains:

Rosuvastatin (as calcium) (B.P) 5mg

Dosage: As per the directions of the physician. Read the instructions inside the package.

Important Instructions:

All medicines should be kept out of the reach of the children

Protect the medicine from the following

  • Heat
  • Light
  • Moisture
  • Freeze

Store below 30° C.

Cautions:

This may cause some side effects like

  • Headache Rosugen-2
  • Feeling sick
  • Stomach pain
  • Muscle pain
  • Nausea
  • Dizziness
  • Constipation

If any of these side effects persist, immediately consult the physician.

Warnings:

Avoid taking medicine without the direction of the physician.

Must see the expiry date before using.

Limited use for renal and hepatic patients.

To be sold on prescription of a registered medical practitioner only.

Avoid using it in the last stage of pregnancy because it’s not safe in pregnancy.
