Tinmet

Tinmet (Vildagliptin + Metformin HCl) tablet helps to control the blood sugar level. It works by making the pancreas produce insulin and less glucagon (effect of vildagliptin) and also by helping the body to make better use of the insulin it produces (effect of metformin).

Vildagliptin is an effective and well-tolerated treatment option in elderly patients with type 2 diabetes, demonstrating similar improvement in glycaemic control as metformin, with superior GI tolerability.

Uses: It is used for the treatment in adults with type 2 diabetes mellitus.

Package Contains: This medicine is in the form of tablets and there are 14 tablets of 50mg/500mg in the box.

Composition: Tinmet

Each Film coated Tablet Contains:

Vildagliptin 50mg

Metformin Hydrochloride 500mg

Dosage: See package insert for full prescribing information or as directed by the physician.

General Instructions: Take your medications exactly as prescribed. Keep out of reach of children. Do not stop taking or change your medications unless you first talk with your doctor. Wash your hands before taking medications.

STORAGE:

  • Store at 25°C (Excursions permitted between 15°C-30°C).
  • Protect from sunlight, heat and moisture.
