Renitec

Renitec (Enalapril Maleate) Tablet is used to treat raised blood pressure and the symptoms of heart failure. It contains enalapril maleate as an active ingredient and belongs to the anti-hypertensive class of drugs.

How it works: Renitec Tablets are used to prevent and treat the symptoms of high blood pressure, symptomatic treatment of heart failure, & prevention of heart failure in patients with asymptomatic left ventricular dysfunction. It works by inhibiting the angiotensin-converting enzyme, thus stopping the production of a key component responsible for vasoconstriction and reabsorption of sodium from kidney tubules.

Package contains: Each pack of Renitec contains 20’s tablets of 10mg. Also available as: Renitec Tablet 5mg/10mg.

Enalapril Maleate, U.S.P 10mg

Dosage:

  • As prescribed by the physician.

Instructions:

  • Store below 30oC.
  • Protect from moisture.
  • Keep all medicine out of reach of children.
  • Only to be sold on prescription of a registered medical practitioner.

Side effects: All products with an active ingredient can cause side effects, although they are rare.

Common Side effects of this medicine can include:

  • Nausea Renitec-back
  • Diarrhoea
  • Abdominal discomfort
  • Vomiting
  • Blurred vision
  • Skin rash
  • Headache

These effects tend to be temporary and may disappear when your body adjusts to this medication. If you feel any side effects, seek medical attention.
