Solophar

Solophar (Dequalinium chloride -Benzalkonium chloride) oral spray. It is a mouth and throat spray in a mint flavour that kills bacteria, viruses, fungi, and yeasts. It is used for the inflammatory treatment & of infectious diseases of the mouth and throat. It provides fast and effective relief from mouth and throat problems.

Package Contains: The Solophar package contains a mouth and throat ready-to-use, oral spray solution in a plastic bottle of 50ml in mint flavour.

Composition:

Each 50ml contains:

Dequalinium chloride (U.S.P.) 0.015mg

Benzalkonium chloride (U.S.P.) 0.035mg

Administration: If not otherwise prescribed, apply every two hours in severe cases, more often.

Dosage: Press the pump valve to stop 2 to 3 times at each application. Spray infected areas in throat and mouth while holding breath. Solophar is not harmful if swallowed.

Directions for use & Dosage: Spray Solophar 2-3 times into the mouth and throat every two hours (or more often in severe cases). Whilst holding your breath, spray the affected areas of the mouth or throat. To do this, press the spray nozzle down (i.e., pump it) as far as it will go 2 to 3 times.

Indications: Inflammatory and infectious disorders of the mouth and throat, like mouth ulcer, inflamed gums, glossitis, pharyngitis, tonsillitis, before/after oral and throat operations, and to remove bad breath.

It is additional topical treatment to accompany antibiotic medication for severe, febrile, purulent diseases in the oral and pharyngeal cavity, colds and flu, mouth ulcers, inflamed gums (gingivitis), inflammation of the tongue (glossitis), and fungal infections in the mouth and throat.

Periodontal diseases and accompanying symptoms, inflammation of the oral mucosa, tonsillitis, injuries, before and after oral/throat operations (e.g. Tonsillectomy), to remove bad breath and bleeding gums.

Solophar provides fast and effective relief in cases of inflammation & infection in the mouth & throat.
The active ingredients of Solophar kills bacteria, viruses, fungi, and yeasts in the mouth and throat.
Owing to its bactericidal and fungicidal effects lasting several hours, its ingredient Dequalinium chloride brings the causative organisms under control.
Its other ingredient, Benzalkonium chloride, is not only antibacterial and antifungal, but it also inactivates the viruses present in the mouth and throat.
Solophar relieves the pain and allows the inflammation of the mouth and throat to settle down quickly.
Solophar has a strong surfactant action, that is why it penetrates readily into all the recesses and folds of the mucous membrane.
Solophar mouth spray is recommended particularly for inflammation far down in the throat, which, for anatomical reasons, is difficult to reach simply by gargling.
Children and elderly or severely ill patients who are unable to gargle can be treated with the mouth spray. It is particularly useful when traveling and in the workplace.

Contraindications: Contraindicated for patients hypersensitive to the ingredients of the formulation.

Interactions: No known interaction.

Side Effects: After longer use a temporary coloration at the teeth or tongue may occur in a single case. It may cause a burning or stinging sensation in the mouth & slight gastrointestinal discomfort.

Precautions: For oral use only. Do not apply to the nostrils and eyelids. Keep the drug out of the reach of children. Store below 30°C.
