Nivador
Nivador (Ceftazidime) (1g) (USP Specs, for intramuscular or intravenous use only) injection is used to treat a wide variety of bacterial infections.
Uses: It is used to treat the lower respiratory tract, skin, urinary tract, blood-stream, joint, and abdominal infections, and meningitis.
Package Contains: It contains an injection of 1g.
Composition:
The box contains:
Vial: Sterile powder of Ceftazidime pentahydrate USP equivalent to Ceftazidime 1g
Ampoule: Water for Injection USP 10ml
Dosage: As directed by the physician.
Injection preparation:
Dissolve vial content by vigorous shaking using 3ml water for injection, provided with the pack.
For intravenous:
Dissolve vial content by vigorous shaking using 10ml water for injection, provided with the pack.
Freshly reconstituted solution is recommended.
Keep out of reach of children.
Avoid exposure to heat, light, and humidity.
Store between 15 to 30°C.
Improper storage may deteriorate the medicine.
Note:
Effervescence occurs on addition of water for injection.

Side effects:
