Spasfon Tablets Phloroglucinol/ Trimethylphloroglucinol by Himont is a musculotropic antispasmodic, 30 coated tablets. It is used to relieve abdominal cramps, intestinal spasms, and other types of pain caused by smooth muscle spasms.

Each tablet contains:

Phloroglucinol hydrate (BP) 80mg

Trimethylphloroglucinol (Manufacturer’s Spec.) 80mg

Indications/ Uses:  This drug is intended to be used for the treatment of spasmodic pain arising from the intestine, biliary tract, bladder and uterus.

Adverse and Troublesome Effects: In common with all active substances, this drug may cause troublesome effects of varying degrees in certain individuals: very rare reports of allergic skin reactions. Tell your doctor or pharmacist about any other adverse and troublesome effects not mentioned in this package insert information.

Warnings: This drug must not be used in the presence of allergy to one of its constituents. In any doubt, it is essential to seek the advice of your doctor or your pharmacist. Always keep out of the reach of children.
