Deximox

Deximox (Moxifloxacin + Dexamethasone) by Barrett Hodgson is a 5 ml sterile eye drop. Moxifloxacin is an antibiotic used to treat bacterial eye infections, while dexamethasone is a corticosteroid that helps reduce eye inflammation, redness, and swelling.

Package Contains: Each Deximox package contains 5ml eye drops in a dropper bottle.

Composition:  Each ml contains:  Deximox

Moxifloxacin (as HCI) 5 mg

Dexamethasone 1mg

(as Dexamethasone Sodium Phosphate)

Indications / Uses: Deximox Eye Drops is commonly used for:

  • Treating bacterial eye infections such as bacterial conjunctivitis.
  • Reducing eye inflammation.
  • Reducing irritation.
  • Relieving redness and itching.
  • Relieving discharge associated with bacterial infection.
  • Managing inflammation after eye surgery.
  • Relieving infection-related eye discomfort and pain.

Warnings & Precautions:

  • Deximox Eye Drops should be used only as prescribed by an ophthalmologist. Do not exceed the recommended dose or duration of treatment.
  • Do not use these drops if you are allergic to moxifloxacin, dexamethasone, or any of their ingredients. Inform your doctor if you have glaucoma, increased eye pressure, or another existing eye condition.
  • Because dexamethasone is a corticosteroid, prolonged or inappropriate use may increase eye pressure, contribute to cataracts, or mask or worsen certain infections. Do not use these drops for viral or fungal eye infections unless specifically directed by an eye specialist.
  • Avoid wearing contact lenses while experiencing symptoms of an eye infection. Wash your hands before applying the drops, and do not touch the dropper tip to your eye or any other surface.
  • If you experience worsening redness, eye pain, swelling, or changes in vision, seek medical advice promptly.

Use within 4 weeks after first opening.
