Dologin

Dologin (Mefenamic Acid) by OPAL 60ml anti-pyretic analgesic anti-inflammatory suspension. It is used for febrile and painful conditions in infants and children.

Package Contains: Each Dologin package contains a suspension (syrup) bottle of 60ml & a leaflet.

Composition: Each 5 ml contains:

Mefenamic Acid (BP) 50mg.

(As per Innovator’s Specs.)

Dosage:

6 months to 1 year: 1 teaspoonful

2 to 4 years: 2 teaspoonfuls

5 to 8 years: 3 teaspoonfuls

9 to 12 years: 4 teaspoonfuls

To be repeated every 6 to 8 hours as needed.

Uses/ Indications: It is indicated for febrile and painful conditions in infants and children.

Relieve mild to moderate pain.
Reduce inflammation and swelling.
Relieve menstrual pain and cramps.
Help with pain associated with headache, toothache, muscle aches, and joint pain.
Reduce fever.

Side Effects: Like all medicines, Dologin may cause some side effects, such as:

Stomach upset or indigestion.
Nausea and vomiting.
Diarrhea or constipation.
Abdominal pain.
Headache or dizziness.
Skin rash or itching.
Ringing or buzzing in the ears.
Increased blood pressure.

Warnings:

Pregnancy: This medicine is not recommended for use in pregnant women unless potential benefits outweigh the risks associated. Contact your doctor before using this medicine. It should not be used during the third trimester of pregnancy.

Breast-feeding: Use of Dologin in breastfeeding women is not recommended as the amount passing through the milk and its effect on the infant is unknown. Your doctor may prescribe a safer alternative in such cases.

Instruction: Shake well before use.

Storage: Store between 15°-30°C. Keep all medicines out of the reach of children.
