Predivet

Predivet Injection prednisolone (USP) by Nawan Laboratories is 50ml injection for veterinary (animal) use only. Prednisolone is a steroid medicine (corticosteroid) used to reduce inflammation and calm an overactive immune system in animals like buffalo, goat, and sheep etc.

Prednisolone acetate 25 mg

Indications / Uses: Predivet has pronounced anti- inflammatory, anti-allergic and anti- pathogenic actions. Predivet is effective in drug Eczema, Dermatitis (non-specific), and all kinds of inflammations.

Detailed Indications / Uses: Predivet Injection, containing prednisolone, is a corticosteroid used in veterinary medicine for its anti-inflammatory and anti-allergic effects. It helps reduce inflammation, swelling, irritation, and allergic responses associated with various conditions. It may be used in the management of eczema, non-specific dermatitis, and other inflammatory conditions in animals. By suppressing excessive inflammatory and immune responses, prednisolone can help relieve associated clinical signs and support the management of inflammation. Its use should be guided by a veterinarian, particularly because the appropriate dose and duration depend on the animal species, condition, and severity of the disease.

Dosage & Route of Administration:

  • Sheep/Goats: 20-50 kg, 0.5-3 ml
  • Calves: 100- 150 kg, 0.5-4 ml
  • Cattle: 200- 300 kg, 4-8ml
  • Horses: 300-400 kg, 4-10 ml
  • Through intratrabecular or intra-articular.

Withdrawal Period:

Meat: 4 days

Milk: 2 days

Instructions/Precautions:

  • In case of the intra-articular route, one should first remove from the joint a quantity of fluid equal to the volume of Predivet to be Injected.
  • Store below 30°C.  Predivet back
  • Protect from heat and light.
  • Keep out of reach of children.
  • For Veterinary use only.
