FeGent

FeGent (Iron Bisglycinate) is a 120ml malt base iron syrup with honey and malt. It is a liquid food supplement with iron, L-methylfolate, minerals, and Vitamins in a tasty flavour of honey and malt.

Composition:

Each 5ml Contains extract of Fruit & Malt:

Iron 25mg (as Iron Bis-Glycinate Chelate).

Zinc 0.5mg (Zinc Amino Chelate).

Copper 0.2mg.

L-Methylfolate 50mcg.

Dosage: As directed by the physician.

Dosage & Administration: Shake well before use.

Infants upto 1 year: 1/4 teaspoon (1.25ml once daily)
Children upto 2 years: 1/2 teaspoon (2.5ml twice daily)
For growing children 3 to 14 years: 1 teaspoon (5ml twice daily)
For pregnant and lactating women: 1 tablespoon (once daily) during or immediately after the meal.

Uses / Beneficial in: FeGent syrup is beneficial in:

Growing Children.
During Pregnancy.
Menstruating women.

Side Effects: It typically causes mild, temporary side effects like constipation, diarrhea, nausea, stomach cramps, or heartburn. It is also completely normal and harmless for your stool to turn dark green or black.

Rare but serious side effects: While uncommon, seek immediate medical care if you experience any of the following severe symptoms:

Allergic Reactions: Hives, itching, severe skin rashes, or swelling of the face, lips, tongue, and throat.
Severe Gastrointestinal Distress: Very bad belly pain, vomiting, throwing up blood or material that looks like coffee grounds, or bloody/tarry stools.
Other systemic symptoms: High fever or breathing difficulties.
