Gaticin
Gaticin (Gatifloxacin Mfr. Specs. 0.3%) by Schazoo SPL 5ml eye drops is a broad-spectrum antibacterial sterile ophthalmic solution. It is used to treat bacterial infections of the eye. It is an 8-methoxy fluoroquinolone anti-infective for topical ophthalmic use.
Package Contains: Each Gaticin package contains an eye drop of 5ml in an eye dropper bottle & a leaflet.
Composition: 
Gatifloxacin Mfr. Specs. 3 mg
Benzalkonium Chloride 0.005%
Edetate Disodium, Sodium Chloride and WFI.

Dosage: As directed by the doctor.
Uses: Gaticin sterile ophthalmic solution is indicated for the treatment of bacterial conjunctivitis caused by susceptible strains of the following micro-organisms:
- Aerobic Gram-Positive Micro-organisms
- Corynebacterium propinquum
- Staphylococcus aureus
- Staphylococcus epidermidis
- Streptococcus mitis
- Streptococcus pneumoniae
- Aerobic Gram-Negative Micro-organisms
- Haemophilus influenza
It is used to treat bacterial infections of the eye.
Dosage & Administration: The recommended dosage regimen for the treatment of bacterial conjunctivitis is:
- Days 1 and 2: Instill one drop every two hours in the affected eye(s), up to 8 times daily.
- Days 3 through 7: Instill one drop up to four times daily.
Side Effects: Check with your doctor immediately if any of the following adverse effects occur:
- More common: Eye irritation, eye pain, eye redness.
- Less common: Bloody eye, decrease in vision, swelling of the membrane covering the white part of the eye.
Directions/Instruction: 
- Protect from freezing.
- Store below 30°C.
- Protect from heat, light & moisture.
- Keep all medicines out of the reach of children.
- To be used within 4 weeks after opening.
- For ophthalmic use only.
