ZANLAN Tablets

ZANLAN Tablets film-coated 30 tablets of 10 mg contains cetirizine dihydrochloride and is an anti-allergic medicine. It is commonly used to help relieve allergy symptoms.

Package Contains: Each Zanlan package contains 30 tablets of 10 mg & a leaflet. It is also available in 5mg tablets.

Composition: Each Film-coated tablet contains:

Uses/Indications: ZANLAN Tablets are an anti-allergic medicine that is used as basic treatment of seasonal rhinitis and conjunctivitis, perennial allergic rhinitis, pruritus, and urticaria of allergic origin.

Side Effects/Adverse Reactions: As far as adverse reactions are concerned, cetirizine administered at recommended doses does not differ from placebo.

Contraindications: No contraindication has been declared to date.

Special Precautions: At therapeutic doses, cetirizine does not potentiate the effects of alcohol (for a blood concentration of 0.8 g/l); however, caution is imperative.

Pregnancy & Lactation: Teratological studies carried out in animals did not evidence any particular malformation. However, as a precaution, cetirizine should not be administered to pregnant women during the period of organogenesis. The same applies to the lactation period.

Interactions: No interaction has been reported so far.

Over Dosage: Sedation may be a symptom of overdose; it appears from a single dose of 50 mg. There is no specific antidote to date. In case of massive overdosage, a gastric lavage should be carried out as soon as possible. It is advisable to follow general support treatments involving frequent control of vital functions.
