Pyodine Gel
Pyodine Gel by Brookes (Povidone-lodine) is 20g world’s best first aid antiseptic gel for external use only. It is used for cuts, burns & wounds. It kills microorganisms (bacteria, viruses, and fungi) by inhibiting essential enzymes in their metabolism.
It typically kills most pathogens within 15–30 seconds in lab settings. It continues to work even in the presence of a moderate quantity of pus, blood, or mucosal secretions.
Package contains: Each pack of Pyodine Gel contains 20 grams of gel tube & a leaflet.
Composition: 
Each 100 g contains:
Povidone-lodine USP 5.0 g
(Equivalent to 0.5 g available iodine).

Indications /Uses: Pyodine Gel is indicated for the treatment and prevention of the following bacterial, mycotic and viral skin infections:
- Contaminated cuts, abrasions and lacerations
- Post-operative dressing
- Second and third degree burns
- Skin infections which are secondarily infected
- All types of topical ulcers (including tuberculous and leprotic)
- Bed sores and after minor surgical procedures
- Diabetic and episiotomy wound.
Dosage and Application: Cover the affected area of skin with Pyodine Gel and apply an occlusive dressing. Twice daily application is sufficient. In burn and other chronic wounds, thrice daily applications are required.
Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to any ingredient of the product.
Cautions: If thyroid function test is desired, then during the test period, it should not be used.
Instructions: Keep all medicines out of reach of children. 
Store at temperature 15 to 30°C away from light.
