Montekast (Montelukast Sodium Tablets U.S.P.) is a 10 mg, 14-tablet pack from Ferozsons. It is used to help control allergic and respiratory conditions.

Package Contains: Each Montekast package contains 14 tablets of 10mg & a leaflet. It is also available in 5mg chewable tablets.

Dosage & Administration: Use as directed by the physician. (See literature insert for details).

Uses:  It is commonly used for:

  • Asthma prevention and control.
  • Allergic rhinitis (hay fever) symptoms include: Sneezing, Runny nose, Nasal congestion, and itchy nose or throat.
  • Seasonal allergies.
  • Exercise-induced bronchospasm (breathing problems triggered by exercise).

Side Effects: Like all medicines, Montekast tablets may cause some side effects such as:

  • Headache.
  • Stomach pain.
  • Nausea.
  • Diarrhea.
  • Cough.
  • Fever.

Contraindications: Montelukast sodium is contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to any of its components.

Instruction: Do not store above 30°C. Montekast back
