Cefobact

Cefobact (Cefoperazone + Sulbactam) by CCL contains 2 gm injection, 1 vial, and 10ml solvent. The cefobact medicine is only used intravenously (IV) and intramuscularly (IM). It is used for infections.

Package Contains: Each Cefobact package contains 1vial & 10 ml of sterile water and a leaflet inserted inside.

Composition:

Each vial contains:

Cefoperazone (as sodium) 1 gm.

Sulbactam (as sodium) 1 gm.

2 gm Injection: Solvent PSOL injection 10 ml.

Each ampoule contains:

Sterile water for injection 10ml.

Dosage & Administration: As directed by the physician.

Directions for reconstitution:

Add 6.7 mL sterile water in the vial for making solution.
Always use a freshly reconstituted solution.
Discard any remaining portion after administration.

Uses: Cefoperazone should be used only to treat infections that are proven or strongly suspected to be caused by susceptible bacteria. It is indicated for the treatment of the following infections when caused by susceptible organisms:

Respiratory tract infections.
Peritonitis and other intra-abdominal infections.
Infections of the skin and skin structures.
Pelvic inflammatory disease, Endometritis, and other infections of the female genital tract.
Urinary tract infections.

Instructions:

Store in a cool and dry place, below 30℃.
Protect from heat, sunlight & moisture.
Keep out of the reach of children.
Do not freeze.
Always use freshly reconstituted solution.
