PNZ (Pantoprazole) 40 mg is an oral capsule. It is a proton pump inhibitor that reduces excess stomach acid. It is prescribed for the treatment of acid-related gastrointestinal conditions. This medicine should only be used under the supervision of a registered medical practitioner.

Pantoprazole sodium sesquihydrate
Enteric pellets equivalent to Pantoprazole 40 mg.

Dosage and Administration: As directed by the physician. The capsule is usually swallowed whole with water and should not be crushed or chewed. For optimal effectiveness, it is generally recommended to take the capsule before meals.
Uses: PNZ 40 mg is commonly used to treat conditions caused by excessive stomach acid, including gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), peptic and duodenal ulcers, and heartburn. It is also used in managing Zollinger–Ellison syndrome and other acid-related disorders. By reducing acid production, it helps relieve discomfort and promotes healing of the stomach lining.
Side Effects: PNZ medicine is generally well-tolerated, but some patients may experience mild side effects such as headache, nausea, diarrhea, constipation, or abdominal discomfort.
Rarely, dizziness or allergic reactions may occur. If severe or persistent symptoms develop, the patient should seek medical attention immediately.
Patients should read the enclosed leaflet for complete guidance and consult a physician in case of burning, irritation, or any unusual reactions.
