Linjardy [Linagliptin + Empagliflozin] 5/10 mg 14 tablets. Empagliflozin and Linagliptin Combination combines 2 antihyperglycemic agents with complementary mechanisms of action to improve glycemic control in patients with type 2 diabetes.
Empagliflozin is an orally active inhibitor of the sodium-glucose co-transporter (SGLT2). Linagliptin is an orally active inhibitor of the dipeptidyl peptidase-4 (DPP-4) enzyme.
Package contains: Each Linjardy package contains 14 film-coated tablets and a leaflet inside.
Composition: Each film-coated tablet contains: 
Linagliptin 5 mg.
Empagliflozin 10 mg.

Indications & Uses: Empagliflozin and Linagliptin Combination tablets are indicated as an adjunct to diet and exercise to improve glycemic control in adults with type 2 diabetes mellitus when treatment with both empagliflozin and linagliptin is appropriate.
Warnings & Precautions / Side effects: The following warnings, precautions, and potential adverse effects have been associated with the use of this product:
Pancreatitis
Hypotension
Renal impairment
Hypoglycemia with concomitant use of insulin & insulin secretion
Genital mycotic infections
Increased low-Density lipoprotein cholesterol (LCL-C)
There have been post-marketing reports of acute pancreatitis, including fatal pancreatitis
Microvascular outcomes.
